Chief Executive Officer
Peter is the co-founder of the Snowball Group. An ex-banker with over 35 years of experience in UK corporate and funding markets, advising companies on their strategic, financial and funding needs, including running Snowball as an independent business since 2011. MBA, AMCT and ACIB qualified as well as being FCA authorised to provide expert business finance advice and debt advisory.

Alwin Thompson
Chairman
Alwin is a proven entrepreneur with a successful track record in the UK corporate market and the City’s professional community. He founded Interlink Foods and floated it on AIM in 2001. It was later voted AIM Company of the Year, having grown it from a £1.4m turnover to more than £130m. Holds a number of non executive positions in North West businesses. Co-founder of the Snowball Group.

Paula Mitchard
Head of Operations
Paula has more than 25 years experience of banking and administrative support in corporate and business banking operations. Manages all the internal operations and training aspect for the group including customer service, company policies, risk management, databases and marketing/design.

Graeme is an experienced Sales and Marketing Professional, working largely in Marketing Services for client accounts in FMCG, Leisure, Telecoms, Financial Services, Travel & Tourism Sectors.
He was awarded the Quirks Lifetime Achievement Award at 2024 The Marketing Research and Insights Excellence Awards.

The Lord Goddard of Stockport
Advisory Board
David Goddard, Baron Goddard of Stockport is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He was leader of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council between 2007 and 2012. The Lord Goddard sits in the House of Lords and sits on a number of House of Lords committees. Is a member of the Snowball Advisory Board, offering advice and help to Snowball clients on political, council and planning matters.

Mike is an experienced chair and non executive director. Previously vice president of FTSE quoted technology business. Extensive experience across a range of sectors with specific skills in Strategy, Business Development, Business Transformation, Customer experience, Innovation and Sales. Awarded an OBE for services to the economy in the North West. A member of the Snowball Advisory Board.
Nigel Jackson

Nigel’s career spans three decades across Lloyds Bank, Aviva and latterly RBS Group, where he was Managing Director of the Private Banking businesses for both RBS and NatWest. A masters-level executive coach, Nigel has worked with countless individual business leaders and organisations, helping them navigate their leadership, talent development and organisational challenges.
